NALAG Membership
Membership of NALAG is corporate in nature and is made up of all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana, who together constitute the core of the Association. As the representative body of Local Authorities, NALAG provides a unified platform through which all Assemblies can collectively advocate for their interests, share experiences, and drive local development.
In addition to corporate membership, the Association admits:
Associate Members
Institutions, agencies, civil society organizations, and development partners whose mandates align with local governance, decentralization, and community development. These members support the vision and mission of NALAG while benefiting from collaborative opportunities, knowledge exchange, and policy dialogue.
Honorary Members
Distinguished individuals, both local and international, who have made outstanding and lasting contributions to local governance, decentralization, and the promotion of good governance. Honorary membership is conferred as recognition of their commitment and impact.
Through this inclusive membership structure, NALAG fosters collaboration across different levels of governance and ensures a broad base of support for advancing decentralization and local democracy in Ghana.
